Through our collective experiences, we at Q.E.D. Tutoring have learned that there are many paths one can take in reaching a solution in math and can accommodate for multiple learning styles with the help of various technologies and resources. We meet students where they are at and focus on building off of each individuals' needs through interactive and engaging lessons that help develop their understanding and confidence. If one of our student's do not have a "Eureka!" moment during our time together then our mission is not complete.​
My Story
After completing my undergraduate degree I took a year to teach math abroad in Thailand. Fortunately for me, math is the same in any language. I learned that teaching mathematics can be a challenging situation in a classroom setting for both the teacher and student. There is simply not enough time to dedicate your attention to every individual's needs while maintaining pace with the school's curriculum. Upon returning I began my path through Teacher's College and picked up math tutoring on the side. It was then that I discovered my true potential in teaching the subject to individuals one-on-one. Now, I was able to identify student's needs and cater my efforts towards helping them better understand the subject and nurture their own abilities to flourish and exceed their expectations.
